About the event

St Melangell's Church: Sacred Site Visit, Talk and Meditation Ceremony.

Melangell was an Irish hermit and religious person living around the eighth century.

She's the patron Saint of Hares.

St Melangell's Church has been a place of sanctuary and pilgrimage for over a thousand years.

Melangell is thought to ge buried there.

Excavations discovered evidence for Bronze Age burial pits at the west end of the church and under the tower.

The charcoal was dated to the Middle Bronze Age.

A special, peaceful spiritual place for over three thousand years.

On the day of the full moon you are invited to come together in this special place, with stories of this place from Gillian, and a co-creating ceremony meditation to give honouring to the wisdom here.

Meeting at the church car park at just before 2pm.

Gift Economy - Free Event : Completely run by volunteers , self-funding, to assist connection with our sacred sites.  All ages welcome, with children the responsibility and care of their adults, and adults the responsiblity of themselves ;)
